| Private Yoga Classes |
|
|
You may be asking yourself "Why would I take a private class when there are
plenty of regular yoga classes for me to choose from?"
Let me try to explain some of the benefits you will receive during private yoga classes. If you are familiar with yoga, you probably already know that yoga is a journey.
Practicing yoga puts you on a constant journey, and the only requirement on that
journey is that you do your best each moment. Even doing your best will change,
day to day. At one time your best will be a strong and challenging practice. At
another time it will be a gentle and relaxing practice. In a private class, you
can easily adjust your practice to your own personal best.
You may also
need things from yoga that many students in a regular class don't need. For
example, 1. It is possible that more focus on balancing poses will help you to
focus better mentally and emotionally 2. May be your balance is great, but you need more upper body strength
3. You may want to learn more about breathing techniques or bring more peace into your life through meditation
4. You may have questions that you are not comfortable asking in a class or you may not want to interrupt during a regular class
These are only a few examples of ways to highlight certain areas of your practice. When
you emphasize and focus on your individual needs, you can get more benefits out
of the time in class. Because of this, your class time becomes more valuable.
Yoga
is a journey that can bring you to a place of harmony. In yoga, you increase
your flexibility and gain strength, not only physically, but also mentally and
emotionally. Yoga will eventually bring you to a place of health, focus, peace
and energy. Through physical poses and breathing exercises, you will find magic.
The magic you find can be as simple as a good night's sleep, a day free from
pain or a life that becomes more than you ever imagined.
In a private
class you will be able to decide the speed and direction your journey will take.
By focusing on your individual needs, you can increase your personal ability to
heal.
